feedback about the publication and website in general. Please
include your full name and address. Comments selected for
publication may be edited for clarity and brevity. Mail or email to the editor.
Calendar Events
To e-mail an event for

mail to the street address above. Items must include a contact phone
number and must be received by the 5th of the month prior to the
event. Calendar items received after this date will be entered on
the online calendar as staff time permits.
Distribution
Richmond Parents Monthly is a free magazine published twelve times a
year. It is distributed to over 400 locations throughout the
greater Richmond area.

Article Submissions
Richmond Parents Monthly considers article queries and submissions
from local writers. Publication is not guaranteed. Queries must be
accompanied by three to five clips. Resumes are welcome but not
required.
Articles run 400 to 2200 words, with payment appropriate to length.
Writers new to the magazine are more likely to be accepted at the
shorter end of the range.
Submissions by local writers for the “Your Turn” essay feature
should be 400 to 900 words and can be researched opinions or
humorous or reflective thoughts on any aspect of parenting. Mail or
e-mail to the addresses above.
